Hi folks,
I'm new to LightUp, trying to model light coming off a mirror
if the sun (or a placed light) is shining on a mirror (with material "bounce light" checked on and Specular set to 1.0), can the light's reflection illuminate another surface? I can see the sun in the mirror, but the sun's light isn't getting to the surface behind me.
I read in the guide that the bounce light setting uses diffuse light, so it seems like what I want to do is not supported. Maybe a feature request for "multiplier" settings to control the diffusion amount and reflectivity amount (or just use the values in the shading properties)?
I'll keep trying, but so far, I can't seem to replicate the bounce light effect as illustrated in the guide. Any tips?
I'm using Sketchup make 2017, LightUp v5.8b (Retail), my son's Dell laptop w/Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti video card.
